SUBJECT: SUSPENSION OF ATTY. ROBERTO F. CASTILLON FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution dated 13 August 2018 of the First Division in Administrative Case No. 10422, entitled "Re: Decision dated March 26, 2004 in A.M. No. P-09-2648 and A.M. No. P-13-3174 vs. Attys. Felix Lodero, Jr. and Roberto F. Castillon," to wit:
WHEREFORE, respondent Atty. Roberto F. Castillon is found GUILTY of violating Rule 18.03, Canon 18 of the Code of Professional Responsibility. Accordingly, he is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for six (6) months effective from the finality of this Resolution, and is STERNLY WARNED that a repetition of the same or similar act shall be dealt with more severely. The case against Atty. Felix O. Lodero, Jr. is hereby DISMISSED for lack of merit.
Let copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Bar Confidant, to be attached to Atty. Robert F. Castillon's personal record as a member of the Bar. Furthermore, let copies of the same be served on the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and Office of the Court Administrator, which is directed to circulate them to all courts in the country for their information and guidance.
