SUBJECT: LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. EDGAR B. FRANCISCO

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 4 March 2019 of the Special Second Division in Administrative Case No. 10548, entitled "Caroline Castaneda Jimenez vs. Atty. Edgar B. Francisco," to wit:

Considering respondent's compliance dated 18 December 2018 with the Resolution dated 1 June 2016, submitting certifications from the courts of Makati City and the manifestation from the IBP Quezon City Chapter, all affirming that respondent Atty. Edgar B. Francisco has not engaged in the practice of law and has not appeared in courts for six (6) months from 22 January 2015 up to 22 July 2015, and it appearing from the documents submitted that respondent has fully served the six-month (6) suspension from the practice of law, the Court resolves to LIFT the order of suspension from the practice of law meted against Atty. Edgar B. Francisco and ALLOW him to RESUME his practice of law.

The Court NOTES the Report and Recommendation dated 18 January 2019 of the Office of the Bar Confidant.
