SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. MA. CHERE GRACITA C. REYES
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 12 July 2017 of the First Division in Administrative Case No. 10241, entitled 'Tan & Concepcion Law Offices vs. Atty. Ma. Chere Gracita C. Reyes," to wit:
Acting on the verified motion/sworn statement dated May 17, 2017 (with enclosures) of respondent Atty. Ma. Chere Gracita C. Reyes stating her voluntary desistance from the practice of law for more than six (6) months with supporting certifications from the courts where she appeared prior to her suspension and prayed for the lifting of her suspension, the Court resolves:
(1) to NOTE the aforesaid verified motion/sworn statement; and
(2) to LIFT the order of suspension of Atty. Ma. Chere Gracita C. Reyes from the practice of law and to ALLOW her to RESUME her practice of law.
The Report and Recommendation dated June 7, 2017 of the Office of the Bar Confidant is NOTED.
