SUBJECT: ON-THE-JOB TRAINING OF COURT STENOGRAPHERS FROM 06 NOVEMBER TO 14 DECEMBER 2000

A six month Advanced Training Course for Court Stenographers is presently being conducted by the Office of the Court Administrator. Through said program, stenographers are trained on how to use stenotype machines in order to improve their proficiency in the operation and use of modern recording equipment imperative to faster and accurate transcription of judicial proceedings. To further harness their skill on the machine, participants are required to undergo six (6) weeks (06 November to 14 December 2000) on-the-job training in the Regional Trial Courts of Manila and Pasay Cities.

Your full cooperation in this regard is requested by providing the stenographers concerned opportunities to actually sit and take notes during hearings making full use of stenotype machines. Stenographers are however required to report to their instructor in the afternoon of the six (6) weeks on-the-job training.

At the end of the six (6) weeks training, a report as to their attendance and performance shall be submitted to this Office.

The Presiding Judge from whose court the training was acquired and completed shall issue a Certificate of Completion to the trainee.
