SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF ATTY. ROSELLER A. VIRAY AND REVOCATION OF HIS NOTARIAL COMMISSION AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM REAPPO1NTMENT AS NOTARY PUBLIC FOR TWO (2) YEARS.
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Decision of the Third Division dated 18 February 2013 in Administrative Case No. 7350, entitled "Patrocinio V. Agbulos v. Atty. Roseller A. Viray," to wit:
WHEREFORE, the Court finds respondent Atty. Roseller A. Viray GUILTY of breach of the 2004 Rules on Notarial Practice and the Code of Professional Responsibility. Accordingly, the Court SUSPENDS him from the practice of law for one (1) year; REVOKES his incumbent commission, if any; and PROHIBITS him from being commissioned as notary public for two (2) years, effective immediately. He is WARNED that a repetition of the same or similar acts in the future shall be ' dealt with more severely.
