SUSPENSION OF ATTY. ESCOLASTICO DAITOL FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR THREE (3) MONTHS

In its resolution dated June 14, 1999, the Third Division of this Court denied with finality Atty. Escolastico's motion for reconsideration of the Court's resolution in Administrative Case No. 3736 (Craig L. Ford vs. Atty. Escolastico Daitol) dated November 16, 1995 which suspended him from the practice of law for a period of three (3) months, with a warning that a repetition of the same and similar offense will be dealt with more severely.

The resolution further directed this Office to circularize respondent's suspension from the practice of law.

Therefore, quoted hereunder for the information and guidance of all concerned is the dispositive portion of the resolution in Administrative Case No. 3736 of the Third Division of this Court dated November 16, 1995, to wit:

"WHEREFORE, the Court Resolved to SUSPEND respondent Atty. Escolastico Daitol from the practice of law for a period of three (3) months with a WARNING that repetition of the same or similar offense will be more severely dealt with. Respondent is also DIRECTED to return to complainant the amount off P600.00, which he had received as attorney's fees.
