SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF ATTY. GLICERIO A. SAMPANA

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Third Division dated 3 March 2014, entitled "Spouses Carlito and Leonida Lising v. Atty. Glicerio A. Sampana," to wit:

WHEREFORE, the June 21, 2013 Resolution of the IBP denying Atty. Glicerio A. Sampana's motion for reconsideration and affirming its May 15, 2012 decision suspending him from the practice of law for one (1) year is hereby MODIFIED in that the order to return the amounts received from complainants is DELETED. This decision is immediately executory and is without prejudice to the filing of any civil or criminal action against the respondent.

In a Resolution dated 25 February 2015, the Court DENIED with FINALITY the respondent's motion for reconsideration for lack of merit. The respondent's order of suspension commenced on 26 March 2015 the date of receipt of the Resolution dated 25 February 2015 which denied his motion for reconsideration for lack of merit.
