To All Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions Under BSP Supervision
We are furnishing you a copy of Republic Act No. 9225 otherwise known as the “Citizenship Retention and Re-acquisition Act of 2003” which provides that former Filipinos who remain or re-acquire Philippine citizenship thereunder shall enjoy full civil and political rights and shall be subject to all attendant liabilities and responsibilities under existing laws of the Philippines and to the conditions prescribed under Section 5 hereof.
