AUTHORIZING THE ATTENDANCE OF SELECTED SUPREME COURT PERSONNEL IN THE TRAINING COURSES ON WEBSITE AND PUBLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT, PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO

The Supreme Court considers the conduct of training courses essential in improving its Human Resource. This is further underscored in the Court's Action Program for Judicial Reform, which includes the skills advancement of Court employees under its Human Resource Development component.

With the advent of the information age, new technologies have been developed to facilitate processing of data and the sharing of knowledge. Consequently, this requires that personnel skills be improved to maximize the use and benefit of modern equipment. Knowledge on important computer programs and applications, for instance, will allow users to speed up, systematize and put creative touches in their work.

It is therefore important that the knowledge of select Court employees on website and publications development and photography and video techniques be continuously updated to help improve their Information, Education and Communication functions in line with the Court's objective to establish a modern and efficient Judiciary.

In view of the foregoing, a series of training will be conducted from March to June 2007 on website and publications development, photography and video editing.

The identified Supreme Court personnel are authorized to attend the following training courses:
