SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF ATTY. ROGER Z. REYES

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Second Division dated 18 August 2014 in Administrative Case No. 10492 [Formerly CBD Case No. 05-1551] entitled "Dorotea Cayatas vs. Atty. Roger Z. Reyes," to wit:

The Court RESOLVES to ADOPT and APPROVE the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendations of the IBP Board of Governors in IBP Notice of Resolution No. XX-2013-167 dated 30 November 2013 (Annex "A") which adopted and approved with modification the report and recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner in the attached Report dated 2 July 2013 (Annex "B"). Accordingly, the Court SUSPENDS respondent Atty. Roger Z. Reyes for one (1) year from the practice of law for violations of Canons 1, 1.01, 10, 10.01, 18, 18.03 and 18.04 of the Code of Professional Responsibility.
