SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR TWO (2) YEARS OF ATTY. TYRONE PEDRENA

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Decision of the Court En Banc dated 22 October 2013 in Administrative Case No. 9401, entitled "Jocelyn De Leon v. Atty. Tyrone Pedrena," to wit:

WHEREFORE, the Court SUSPENDS ATTY. TYRONE PEDRENA from the practice of law for two years effective upon receipt of this decision, with STERN WARNING that a repetition of the same or similar acts will be dealt with more severely.

In his motion for reconsideration dated 13 January 2014 it is stated that respondent received on 2 January 2014 the said Decision. In a Resolution dated 18 February 2014, the Court DENIED respondent's motion for reconsideration ; there being no substantial matters raised to warrant the reversal of the questioned Decision.
