SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR THREE (3) MONTHS OF ATTY. ALFREDO L. BENTULAN

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Second Division dated 12 October 2011, in Administrative Case No. 5862, entitled "Dalisay Capili vs. Atty. Alfredo L. Bentulan", to wit:

"WHEREFORE, respondent Atty. Alfredo L. Bentulan is found GUILTY of violating Canon 18, Rule 18.03 of the Code of Professional Responsibility. He is hereby SUSPENDED from the practice of law for a period of three (3) months, with a STERN WARNING that a repetition of the same or similar act will be dealt with more severely."

In a Resolution dated 8 February 2012, the Court DENIED with FINALITY the respondent's motion for reconsideration thereof for lack of merit.
