SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. EDUARDO SEDILLO

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the First Division dated 29 July 2013 in Administrative Case No. 9506, entitled "Atty. Lester R. Nuique v. Atty. Eduardo Sedillo," to wit:

WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, the Court finds Atty. Eduardo Serdillo GUILTY of misconduct for representing conflicting interest in violation of Rule 15.03, Canon 15 of the Code of Professional Responsibility and is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for a period of six (6) months, effective upon receipt of this Resolution, with a STERN WARNING that a commission of the same or similar offense in the future will result in the imposition of a more severe penalty.

In his Compliance with Manifestation dated 8 October 2013 it is stated that respondent received on 29 July 2013 the said Resolution. In a Resolution dated 23 January 2014, the Court DENIED with FINALITY respondent's motion for reconsideration, . there being no substantial matters raised to warrant a modification of the Court's Resolution.
