SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR NINE (9) MONTHS OF ATTY. ROGELIO M. WATIN, SR.

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Second Division dated 17 June 2013 in Administrative Case No. 6111, entitled "Dr. Manuel T. Ang vs. Atty. Rogelio M. Watin, Sr.," to wit:

The Court RESOLVES to APPROVE and AFFIRM the findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommendations of Investigating Commissioner Atty. Ceasar R, Dulay in the attached Report dated 12 October 2012 (Annex "A") as approved with modification by the IBP in its Notice of Resolution No. XVI-2004-478 dated 4 November 2004 (Annex "B"). Accordingly, the Court SUSPENDS respondent Atty. Rogelio M. Watin, Sr. from the practice of law for six (6) months, effective upon receipt of this resolution.

Further, the Court, in its Resolution dated 26 February 2014 DENIED the respondent's motion for reconsideration and motion to allow him to continue to practice law pending resolution of his motion for reconsideration. Subsequently, in its Resolution dated 11 August 2014 the Court resolved to "SUSPEND FURTHER Atty. Rogelio M. Watin, Sr. from the practice of law for three (3) months. He shall serve a total of nine (9) months of suspension from the practice of law effective upon receipt of the resolution of [the] Court."
