ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISION OF COURTS

ALL JUDGES OF THE MUNICIPAL TRIAL COURT, MUNICIPAL CIRCUIT TRIAL COURTS, MUNICIPAL TRIAL COURTS IN CITIES AND SHARIA COURTS

SUBJECT :

ATTENDANCE AT THE NATIONAL CONVENTION-SEMINAR-WORKSHOP ON SEPTEMBER 26-30, 1989 AT THE MANILA HOTEL IN OFFICIAL TIME/OFFICIAL BUSINESS CHARGEABLE AGAINST LOCAL FUNDS.

The Supreme Court has granted authority for expanding the subject coverage and schedule of the National Courts, Municipal Circuit Trial Courts, Municipal Trial Courts in Cities and Sharia Courts sponsored by the Municipal Trial Judges League of the Philippines. Instead of September 29-30 as originally scheduled, the convention-seminar shall be held on the following dates; September 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30, 1989.

The seminar shall cover the following subjects: the New Rules on Evidence which took effect on July 1, 1989, Administrative Order No. 135 on mandatory continuous trial, Court Management, the New Canons of Judicial Ethics, and the Katarungang Pambarangay Law (PD 1508).

Attendance at the said convention-seminar including travel to Manila on September 25 (Monday) is on official time/official business and all expenses incurred in connection with such attendance, including the registration fee of P500.00, shall be defrayed by the respective local governments.
