CIRCULAR LETTER NO. CL-2007-031
To : ALL BANKS AND NON-BANK FINANCIAL INTERMEDIARIES WITH QUASI-BANKING FUNCTIONS
Subject : Merger between BDO and EPCI
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved on 25 May 2007 the Plan of Merger and Articles of Merger executed on 28 December 2006, by and between BANCO DE ORO UNIVERSAL BANK (BDO), surviving corporation and EQUITABLE PCI BANK, INC. (EPCI), absorbed corporation, whereby the entire assets and liabilities of EPCI will be transferred to and absorbed by BDO. The surviving corporation shall be called BANCO DE ORO - EPCI, INC.
The approval took effect on 31 May 2007.
