ALL JUDGES AND CLERKS OF COURT OF THE DESIGNATED DRUGS COURTS AND ALL REGIONAL TRIAL COURTS WITH DRUGS CASES

SUBJECT : INVENTORY OF ALL DRUGS CASES FILED AND DECIDED FROM THE PERIOD JANUARY 2010 TO DECEMBER 2010

There is a need to monitor and give special attention to all cases filed and decided regarding violation of R.A. 6425 (Dangerous Drugs Act of 1972, as amended), if there is still any, and R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

In this regard, all judges and clerks of court of the designated drugs courts and all Regional Trial Courts with drugs cases are hereby directed to submit a report on the following data covering the period 01 January 2010 to 31 December 2010:

1) the number of drugs cases filed; 2) the number of drugs cases decided; 3) the number of cases that resulted in acquittal or conviction; and 4) if it resulted in acquittal, the reasons therefor. Submission of the required report should be made on or before 15 February 2011.
