SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. MICHAELA A. LONTOC
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Third Division dated 20 November 2013 in Administrative Case No. 8201, entitled "Cynthia G. Andres v. Atty. Michaela A. Lontoc," to wit:
WHEREFORE, Atty. Michaela A. Lontoc, having been found in violation of Canon 10.01 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for six (6) months, with a stern warning that a repetition of the same or similar act shall be dealt with more severely.
In a Resolution dated 5 March 2014, the Court DENIED with FINALITY the respondent's motion for reconsideration. Respondent received on 24 April 2014 the said Resolution dated 5 March 2014.
