SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. RODOLFO RANION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 2 February 2015 of the Second Division in Administrative Case No. 10670, entitled "Armando Geco v. Atty. Rodolfo Ranion," to wit:

WHEREFORE, finding Atty. Rodolfo Ranion GUILTY of gross misconduct for violating Rule 15.04, Canon 17 and Rule 18.04 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, the Court hereby imposes the penalty of SUSPENSION from the practice of law for a period of SIX (6) MONTHS to commence immediately upon receipt of copy of this decision; and the penalty of turnover or payment of the amount of Sixteen Thousand Five Hundred Sixty Two Pesos ( £ 16,562.00) to complainant. Respondent is further STERNLY WARNED that a commission of the same or similar acts in the future shall be dealt with more severely.

Atty. Ranion is DIRECTED to report the date of his receipt of this decision to enable this Court to determine when his suspension shall take effect.

Respondent received the resolution on 25 February 2015.
