SUBJECT : REVOCATION OF NOTARIAL COMMISSION AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM REAPPOINTMENT AS NOTARY PUBLIC FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF ATTY. JULIO NICANOR C. GUINTO

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 17 August 2016 of the First Division in Administrative Case No. 7175, entitled "Rosalinda F. Miguel v. Atty. Julio Nicanor C. Guinto," to wit:

The Court resolves to ADOPT and APPROVE the recommendation of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines' Board of Governors in its Notice of Resolution No. XX-2013-38 dated January 3, 2013 (Annex "A"). Accordingly, the notarial commission of respondent Atty. Julio Nicanor C. Guinto is REVOKED, and he is DISQUALIFIED from re-appointment as Notary Public for one (1) year from notice.

Respondent received the said resolution on 26 September 2016.
