SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. VIVIAN G. RUBIA
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Decision of the Third Division dated 02 October 2009, in Administrative Case No. 6166, entitled, "Maria Earl Beverly C. Ceniza vs. Atty. Vivian G. Rubia," to wit:
"WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, respondent Atty. Vivian G. Rubia is found GUILTY of violation of Rule 18.03 and Canon 22 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, Accordingly, she is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for six (6) months effective immediately, with a warning that a similar infractions in the future will be dealt with more severely." Respondent's very urgent motion for reconsideration on the Decision dated 02 December 2009 was DENIED for lack of merit in the resolution dated 13 January 2010.
