SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. RIZ TINGALON L. DAVIS

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 05 July 2017 of the Special Second Division in Administrative Case Mo. 9395, entitled "Daria O. Daging v. Atty. Riz Tingalon L. Davis," to wit:

Acting on the motion of respondent Atty. Riz Tingalon L. Davis to lift suspension dated 10 April 2017, and the Certification from the IBP Baguio-Benguet Chapter and Offices of the Executive Judge of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities and the Regional Trial Court of Baguio City, all affirming that respondent ceased and desisted from the practice of law and has not appeared in court as counsel from 28 November 2014 to 14 May 2015, and it appearing that the Resolution dated 12 November 2014 which suspended respondent from the practice of law for six (6) months was received by respondent on 28 November 2014, hence his order of suspension commenced on 28 November 2014 and ended on 28 May 2015, and considering that based on the records and evidence submitted, respondent has fully served the six-month suspension pursuant to the Resolution dated 12 November 2014, the Court resolves to LIFT the Order of suspension from the practice of law imposed upon Atty. Riz Tingalon R. Davis, and to ALLOW him to RESUME his practice of law.

The Court NOTES the Report and Recommendation dated 18 April 2017 of Office of the Bar Confidant.
