TO : ALL REGIONAL TRIAL COURT JUDGES OF THE NATIONAL CAPITAL JUDICIAL REGION (NCJR)

RE :

SEMINAR WORKSHOP ON "JUDICIAL SKILLS ASSESSMENT AND REINFORCEMENT" ON APRIL 23 TO 24, 1993, AT THE PHILIPPINE SOCIAL SCIENCE CENTER, DILIMAN QUEZON CITY.

Pursuant to Section 5 (3) Article VIII of the Constitution, all Regional Trial Court Presiding Judges in the National Capital Judicial Region are directed to attend the Seminar-Workshop on Judicial Skills Assessment and Reinforcement to be on April 23 to 24 (Friday and Saturday) 1993 at the Philippine Social Science Center at Diliman, Quezon City.

The Seminar-Workshop is a component of the Judicial Career Development Program under the joint sponsorship of the Supreme Court and the Institute of Judicial Administration.

The participants (which shall include RTC Judges on temporary detail with the NCJR.) shall submit to the Institute of Judicial Administration the following, not later than April 14, 1993:

Biodata with picture.

A complete inventory of their pending cases, including the status of each (whether for trial or for decision)

A brief summary of problems in their court relating to delays, court facilities, personnel, availability of lawyers.

The Seminar-Workshop shall begin at 7:30 A.M. for registration on Friday April 23, 1993 and end at 5:00 P. M. on Saturday. This is a non-residential program.

All expenses shall be borne by the Institute of Judicial Administration. The seminar shall be on official time/official business chargeable to local funds if authorized and available.

No exemption from attendance shall be permitted except for highly meritorious reasons. Leaves of absence for these dates are cancelled.

Strict compliance with Seminar rules is enjoined.

Further details shall be furnished by the Office of the Court Administrator and the Director of the Institute of Judicial Administration.
