SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. CASAN MACABANDING FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR ONE (1) YEAR AND REVOCATION OF HIS NOTARIAL COMMISSION AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM REAPPOINTMENT AS NOTARY PUBLIC FOR TWO (2) YEARS

For your information, and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Decision dated 8 October 2014 of the Third Division in Administrative Case No. 7919, entitled "Domado Disomimba Sultan v. Atty. Casan Macabanding," to wit:

WHEREFORE, Atty. Casab Macabanding is found administratively liable for misconduct and is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for one (1) year. Further, his notarial commission, if any, is REVOKED and he is DISQUALIFIED from reappointment as Notary Public for a period of two (2) years, with a stern warning that repetition of the same or similar conduct in the future will be dealt with more severely. He is DIRECTED to report to this Court the date of his receipt of this Decision to enable it to determine when the revocation of his notarial commission and his disqualification from being commissioned as notary public shall take effect.

Per Registry Return Receipt No. 48521, respondent received the Resolution dated 21 October 2015 on 11 December 2015.
