SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. LIBERTAD RAMOS-RASA

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Third Division dated 25 February 2015 in Administrative Case No. 8852 entitled "Sylvia Lorenzo Stolk vs. Atty. Libertad Ramos-Rasa" to wit:

The Court further resolves to AFFIRM the Resolution No. XX-2013-483 dated April 16, 2013 by the IBP Board of Governors, there being no reversible error in the report and recommendation of the investigating commissioner; and SUSPEND Atty. Libertad Ramos-Rasa from the practice of law for six (6) months for violations of Canon 1, Canon 6 and Rule 20 (a) of Rule 138, Rule 7.03 of Canon 7 of the Code of Professional Responsibility with WARNING that repetition of the same act shall be dealt with more severely.
