CLARIFICATION ON THE REQUIREMENT OF SUBMISSION OF COPIES OF COURT SUMMONS, SUBPOENA AND OTHER DOCUMENTS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS PURSUANT TO OCA CIRCULAR 49-2002 DATED 24 SEPTEMBER 2002
Pursuant to OCA Circular No. 49-2002, Judges and Clerks of Court of the above mentioned courts are required to submit to the Consular Records Division Office of the Consular Affairs, Department of Foreign Affairs, of court summons, subpoena and other documents issued by their respective courts.
The Office of the Court Administrator has been receiving queries whether all court summons, subpoena and other documents issued by the court should be furnished the said office. Thus, inquiries were made with the Department of Foreign Affairs and the latter clarified that the court summons, subpoena and other documents requested by the Task Force on Passport Irregularities refer only to those related to cases involving violation of the Philippine Passport Act of 1996 (RA 8239).
In view of the foregoing all concerned are hereby advised that the court summons, subpoena and other documents to furnished to the;

as directed in OCA Circular No. 49-2002 dated 24 September 2002 are those related to cases involving violation of the Philippine Passport Act of 1996 (RA 8239).
