TRAINING NEEDS SURVEY FOR CAPACITY BUILDING OF ENVIRONMENTAL COURT JUDGES

Pursuant to Administrative Order No. 23-2008 dated January 28, 2008, some branches of the first and second level courts in multi-sala stations were designated as Special Courts to try and decide violations of environmental laws, in multi-sala stations where no branches of the first and second level courts are designated to try' and decide environmental cases, the cases shall be raffled among the branches thereat which shall try and decide such cases according to existing issuances. All single sala first and second level courts are considered special courts for the purpose.

In connection therewith, the PH1LJA is conducting a survey to determine the training needs of designated environmental court judges in environmental laws and adjudication. Attached is the Training Needs Survey Form.

In this respect, please submit to PHILJA, 3 rd Floor Centennial Building , Supreme Court, Padre Faura St. , Manila , the completed attached survey form, on or before May 30, 2008
