SUBJECT: SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. ANTONIO C. CABREROS AND DISMISSAL OF COMPLAINT AGAINST ATTY. VICTOR P. VILLANUEVA
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is portion Resolution of the First Division dated 12 September 2011, in Administrative Case No. 9127, entitled (formerly CBD Case No. 05-1463] (Cristita T. Juarez-Chiang, et al. vs. Attys. Antonio C. Cabreros and Victor P. Villanueva)," to wit:
"(1) the complaint against respondent Atty. Victor P. Villanueva is DISMISSED for lack of merit; and
(2) respondent Atty. Antonio C. Cabreros is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for six (6) months for his failure to protect the interest of his clients."
Respondent Atty. Antonio C. Cabreros did not file a motion for reconsideration despite receipt on 25 November 2011 of the Resolution dated 12 September 2011 per Registry Return Receipt No. 489.
