DIRECTING THE ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION OF THE FOLLOWING COURT PERSONNEL OF THE SUPREME COURT IN THE LONG-TERM COURSE UNDER THE PAHRDF-SC PARTNERING AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Philippines-Australia Human Resource Development Facility (PAHRDF) has chosen the Supreme Court as one of its targeted institutions in the Philippines to be a recipient of both short-term and long-term scholarships and training programs offered by the Australian government through the PAHRDF which are primarily aimed at improving the capacity of the SC to help alleviate poverty and contribute towards a sustainable and equitable development;
WHEREAS, Chief Justice Davide, Jr. signed for and in behalf of the Court a Partnering Agreement with the PAHRDF where the latter agreed to provide specific funding support to the approved short-term and long-term scholarships and trainings and the SC, to support the implementation of these activities under the terms and conditions set forth in the Agreement;
Whereas, under the long-term scholarships which will start in January 2006, the PAHRDF invited the Court to send nominees for two (2) Graduate Diploma in Court Management and two (2) Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Development;
Whereas, pursuant to the long-term scholarships which will start in January 2006, the following activities have been indentified by PAHRDF for the nominated court personnel indicated them:
