SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. ROLANDO V. ZUBIRI FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR THREE (3) MONTHS
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Decision dated 19 June 2017 of the First Division in Administrative Case No. 11600, entitled "Romulo De Mesa Festin v. Atty. Rolando V. Zubiri," to wit:
WHEREFORE, respondent Atty. Rolando V. Zubiri (respondent) is found GUILTY of violating Canon 1, Canon 8, and Rule 10.03, Canon 10 of the Code of Professional Responsibility. Accordingly, he is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for three (3) months effective from the finality of this Decision, and is STERNLY WARNED that a repetition of the same or similar act shall be dealt with more severely.
As stated in his manifestation with motion dated 24 November 2017, respondent received a copy of this Decision on 8 August 2017.
