SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR TWO (2) YEARS OF ATTY. MINERVO T. LANGIT

In the decision of the Court En Banc dated July 25, 2006, in Administrative Case No. 7057 entitled, " David L. Almendarez, Jr. vs. Atty. Minervo T. Langit " respondent Atty. Minervo T. Langit was suspended from the practice of law for two (2) years, effective upon finality of this decision.

in the same decision, Atty. Langit was ordered to restitute within thirty (30) days from finality of this Decision, complainant's P255.000.00 with interest at 12% per annum from June 30, 2003 until fully paid and directed to submit to the Court proof of payment within fifteen (15) days from payment of the full amount.

The decision was received by the respondent on August 23, 2006. Respondent did not file any motion for reconsideration. For your information and guidance.
