National Consultation of Major Stakeholders on Children in Need of Alternative Parental Care on January 31 to February 3, 2007 at Legenda Suites, Legend International Resorts, Ltd., Waterfront Road, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City

The Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) through its Committee on Family and Alternative Parental Care (ConFAPC) will conduct a "National Consultation of Major Stakeholders on Children in Need of Alternative Parental Care" on January 31 to February 3, 2007 (arrival will be on January 31, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. while departure will be on February 3, 2007 at 12:00 noon). The activity will be held at the Legenda Suites, Legend International Resorts, Ltd. Waterfront Road, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City.

The participants to this consultation will include the DSWD Field Offices, Family Court Judges and/or Regional Trial Court Judges, selected non­ government organizations, local government units with pilot and special projects, members of the ConFAPC and associations who are direct implementers mandated on the implementation of alternative parental care programs.
