SUBJECT : LIFTING OF SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR NINE (9) MONTHS OF ATTY. ROGELIO M. WATIN, SR.

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution of the First Division dated June 29, 2015 in Administrative Case No. 6111 (Dr. Manuel T. Ang, Sr. vs. Atty. Rogelio M. Watin, Sr.), to wit:

The Court resolves:

(1) to NOTE the respondent's compliance with manifestation and motion to lift order of suspension dated January 13, 2015, submitting the Certifications dated January 12, 2015 issued by Executive Judge Carmelita Sarno-Davin, Regional Trial Court, Digos City, Davao Del Sur, and by Atty. Israelito P. Torreon, President of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines' Davao Del Sur Chapter, both affirming that respondent has not engaged in the practice of law since October 1, 2013 up to date of the said certifications; and

(2) to LIFT the order of suspension imposed upon respondent Atty. Rogelio M. Watin, Sr. considering that he has fully served the nine (9) months suspension from October 1, 2013 to January 12, 2015, and that said respondent is ALLOWED to resume his practice of law.
