SUBJECT : LIFTING THE ORDER OF REVOCATION AND DISQUALIFICATION FROM BEING COMMISSIONED AS NOTARY PUBLIC AND SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW OF ATTY. CELESTE D. LAUTA
For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Resolution dated 15 March 2017 of the Third Division in Administrative Case No. 11084, entitled "Osmundo A. Posugac, Jr. v. Atty. Celeste D. Lauta," to wit:
The Court NOTES respondent's compliance with the Resolution dated June 20, 2016, informing the Court of the date of her receipt of the said resolution and submitting certifications from the required offices regarding her non- practice of law during the period of her suspension.
Acting on the Report and Recommendation dated February 1, 2017 of the Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC) on the certifications submitted by respondent, the Court, upon the recommendation of the OBC, resolves to LIFT the order of revocation and disqualification from being commissioned as notary public for one year and her suspension from law practice for one month and ALLOW her to RESUME her law practice.
The said report and recommendation of the OBC is NOTED.
Case is considered CLOSED and TERMINATED.
